REVIEW LATEST REPORT TO CONFIRM NPI/TAXONOMY/ADDRESS SUBMITTED ON CLAIMS MATCH REGISTERED DMAP RECORDS
Date: 10/10/23
To assist providers with compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, Delaware First Health (DFH) providers can download a weekly report that shows the current registration status of the NPI, taxonomy, and address combinations submitted on claims to Delaware First Health.
We encourage providers to review the report to see how they are submitting claims to Delaware First Health and take steps as necessary to submit claims that match the NPI, taxonomy and service locations registered with DMAP, including the taxonomy and full 9-digit zip code.
To Access the Report:
· Sign in to Delaware First Health Provider Portal, scroll down to the bottom, and click on the “Reports.”
· Download the latest version of the “DMAP Registration Report.”
Benefits of Using this Report:
· Providers can confirm if the information you are billing Delaware First Health matches the NPI/taxonomy/service location registered with DMAP.
· If there is not a match, providers should determine if (1) claims are billed incorrectly (e.g., not including the physical service location in address that is registered with DMAP, billing with a blank taxonomy or not billing with complete 9-digiit zip code) or (2) you need to register the NPI/taxonomy/address in the report with DMAP.
Failure to register with DMAP or incorrect billing on claims can result in suspension of payments and claims denials.
