21st Century Cures Act
In accordance with the 21st Century Cures Act, all billing, rendering, ordering, referring and prescriber providers of services/items to Medicaid beneficiaries must register/enroll each NPI, taxonomy and service location(s) combination with the Delaware Medical Assistance Program (DMAP). Failure to register by September 30, 2023, will result in denied claims and potential termination from MCO network participation! Register here, act now!
Below are resources to assist:

· Access DMAP FAQs and How-to-Guides by going to the DMAP portal, clicking the Manuals, Bulletins and Forms link on the left, and clicking on the Managed Care Only Providers MCOP in the documents folder on the left.
· Contact DMAP Provider Services at 1-800-999-3371, option 0 then option 4.

Delaware First Health is doing what we can to avoid claim denials for providers’ failure to register/enroll. We have recently developed reporting based on claims submitted to date that shows the registration status of the NPI, taxonomy and service location combinations for each billing entity, attending and rendering provider. This information will be available in our provider portal in the nearby future.
